Ohio Valley Breast Cancer Awareness and Ohio Valley Medical Center are pleased to announce the second annual “Driving Fore A Cure Golf Classic” scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2007 at Oglebay Resort’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.
Proceeds raised from this special golf tournament will benefit the Center for Breast Cancer at OVMC and local breast cancer patients and will be used to promote and advance the cause of breast cancer awareness in the Ohio Valley.

Breast cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer deaths for all women and the leading cause of cancer deaths in women between the ages of 40 and 55. Both its cause and cure remain undiscovered. Currently there are over 2 million women living in the United States who have been treated for breast cancer. Increased awareness means more survivors.

The “Driving Fore A Cure Golf Classic” is a 4 person golf scramble, limited to 35 teams. Various sponsorship levels are also available for businesses, teams and individuals.
