Tuesday Evening Class
Six Weeks
Beginning the first Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November.
7:00-9:00pm
- Week #1 - Anatomy, exercises to help labor breathing and relaxation.
- Week #2 - Stages of Labor, role of partner, childbirth video.
- Week #3 – Car seat safety, what to bring. Breathing and relaxation.
- Week #4 - Tour of the OB Unit, expectations after delivery, c/section, induction, etc.
- Week #5 – Infant Care first hour, Breastfeeding second hour.
- Week #6 – Infant and Child CPR (You can bring anyone who will be caring for your baby).
Weekend Class
Held the first weekend of every month.
Saturday and Sunday
1:00-5:00pm
Week 1-4 instructions will be covered.
Refresher Class
(If this is not your first child)

VBAC Class

Teen Childbirth Classes - Free
"A Positive Approach to Teen Pregnancy and Parenting"
Mondays, 4:00-6:00pm, pizza provided.
Additional Information
- Small friendly childbirth classes.
- All classes taught by Certified Childbirth Educators.
- Register for Childbirth Classes when you are 5-6 months pregnant.
- All classes are held in the "Former Nurses Residence."
- Park in the Doctor’s Parking Lot next to the Nurse’s Residence (Gate will be up).
- Bring 2 pillows and wear comfortable clothes to Childbirth Classes.
- Call if any special arrangements are needed.
Parking is available in the Doctor’s Lot beside the OVMC Nurses’ Residence.
