OPALs: (Older People with Active Lifestyles) an organization for people of the valley age 55 or older.
HomeCare: A home health agency, which offers professional health care and preventive teaching services to the sick in their homes.
LifeLine: A personal emergency response system designed to enhance the independence of living for the elderly, disabled and those who live alone.
Occupational Health Services (OHS): A program designed to offer injury treatment, drug testing and preventive medicine to area business and industry.
Employee Wellness: A program developed for all employees of the hospital system, offering free programs in such areas as nutrition and stress management.
CPR Classes/Monthly Blood Pressure/Cholesterol Screenings: Are offered at OVMC and EORH. Call the facility nearest you for times and dates of these free public programs.
Support Groups: A variety of support groups to the community including diabetes, arthritis, respiratory, breast cancer, cardiac, stroke club, alzheimers & caregiver and more. Call 243-0123 for information.
SafeSitter: At OVMC and EORH. A free program offering babysitting training for children 11-13.
Patient Transportation: A free patient transportation program, call the facility near you for information.
CentreTown Fitness: A modern fitness center featuring an outstanding selection of state-of-the-art equipment including an indoor track, as well as spacious, comfortable locker facilities and a highly trained professional staff for OVHS&E and the community.
